Use to live in Ketchikan and this is one of those hidden treasures. Great park, very accessible with bathrooms easily accessible. There are beautiful views and carvings at the park.

Excellent park to visit. It provides a composite of the the lodges and houses and quite a few poles. Our guide was very helpful in providing information about the history. Nice shop with nice things to buy and also a small but interesting museum.

Right next door to the Totem Bight Park, also free to enter. Not as many poles on show, but more meeting houses with amazing carvings on the side. There is also a very small historic car museum here too. Good souvenir shop with an attached gun museum??

Well worth the visit if you've been to Totem Bight, you would only need 20-30 mins here to see everything.

Stopped by here on a cruise through Ketchikan-- little kiddos were working on a totem pole of their own, painting something while learning. Guide took us around and talked about each pole-- some are so very old. Makes your heart flutter to think about the time and talent that goes into each carving. Owners are the sweetest people ever-- a wonderful museum there also with some amazing things. Hubby loved the classic cars. All around, amazing time. I'd like to go back.

If you want to learn about totems--their history, their stories, and their modern creations--this is the place to do it. The park even includes a magnificent clan house. The gift shop is quite nice, too. This is a must-see in this part of Alaska.
