“Excellent food and service, and killer liver and onions”
Reviewed June 13, 2012

Jeremiah's is the restaurant/bar at the Best Western Landing in Ketchikan, Alaska. I've eaten here several times, and each time it's been consistently tasty. They have a good variety of beers on tap, energetic and attentive servers, and a generally pleasant atmosphere. Oh, and the pie from the diner downstairs…mmmmmm.

“Average food, average service, diner atmosphere.”
Reviewed April 21, 2012 via mobile

Jeremiah's is okay if you like the greasy diner atmosphere. We stopped in for breakfast when we got off the ferry. The corned beef hash was made on site and was actually pretty good but there are better choices in Ketchikan for restaurants.

“Good food, but they could improve the specialty drinks.”
Reviewed November 10, 2011

We eat at Jeremiah's all the time. We like the wait staff, we like the food, we like the atmosphere. We like that you can combine orders from the restaurant downstairs with food from the pub menu upstairs. (I bet there are a lot of people ordering the downstairs club sandwich with upstairs fries, for example.) My husband's very favorite menu item is the chicken caesar wrap. I like their foccacia bread with a glass of red wine. HOWEVER, we've had a poor experience recently with their specialty drink menu. I had a hot buttered rum two weeks ago at lunch and it was fabulous. On my recommendation, which I'm embarrassed about now, six of us went for hors d'oeuvres and drinks the other night and left disappointed. The hot buttered rums were lukewarm and watery. One person described them thus: "Tastes like someone at the bar dipped a cinnamon stick in skim milk." Another friend ordered the Spanish Coffee and said it was also very watery. Since we went specifically for drinks, Jeremiah's didn't make nearly as much money from us as they might have, as we didn't order more than one drink each and didn't stay as long as we had planned. The manager is good about fixing problems so we probably should have complained, but they were busy and we didn't bother. Still, we can recommend the food here.
