Homemade soups, fresh made sandwiches and baked goods make this a great lunch spot. In the summer sit outside, or on cold days sit in the "sun room". The mushroom soup and african peanut soups are terrific! Soups made on rotation to call ahead to check on the soups of the day. The restaurant is in one of the first homes built in Kenai and it keeps a lot of the great charm. Even if you don't feel like eating, stop by for a coffee or tea and check out the building and the great view of the Kenai River just steps away.
