Clean, comfortable and lots of room. The kitchenette had all the necessary items needed for use to cook a quick meal. The laundry room was close and very clean. The lady at the desk was super friendly, she even reimbursed me for the $2 the washer "ate". We would definitely stay here again!

Room tip: The back side has trees, the front has a view of the street and McDonalds.

Looks like the hotel is fairly new. Nice room with comfy bed. No breakfast. Room had full size kitchen w plates, pots and basic utensils.
Not many choices in Kenai.
Good value for price.

Walked up to this hotel with reservation and they honored the TripAdvisor's price. We only stayed for a night but this hotel is good for long term stays. I like the two queen size beds. Very roomy. A short walk through the parking lot to McDonald's.

We traveled to Kenai from Anchorage for a summer fun / work weekend. We’ve stayed here in the winter and been very pleased. The summer experience was quite the opposite. In our 3 emcounters with the front desk, they ranged from zero stars to 1 star with three different people. The rooms are serviced once a week. The hotel smelled. The staff were untrained (“I don’t how to run a different card.” “I don’t know what channels we get.”). On the positives - the location was convenient, the rooms are a good size, and there was a working ice machine in the smelly laundry room.

An advantage of this hotel is its convenient location just off the highway (behind McDonald’s) across from a shopping center with a Safeway grocery store and a friendly Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed having breakfasts in our room’s kitchen. Although we did not ask for a handicap-accessible room, we were given one and appreciated the grab bars in the bathroom. This room (301) was set up for a guest in a wheelchair: towel racks, closet racks, and kitchen dishes were low, easily accessible from a wheelchair. (Unfortunately, this room had recently been converted from a smoking room to non-smoking and still needed work to get rid of the odor of cigars.) Staff members were friendly and helpful.

Good Morning.

Thank you for taking the time to review our Aspen Suites Hotel Kenai. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, and were able to use the rooms amenities. I do apologize for the smoke smell in that room, I was unaware of this. Please if at anytime a room is not to your liking, contact our front desk staff and we are more than happy to move you to a new room. We want all our guests to be comfortable in their rooms and enjoy their stay with us. I want to thank you for bringing this to my attention, so we can remedy a solution to order new carpeting for this room.
We hope you enjoyed the beauty of Alaska on your trip to the Kenai Peninsula and we hope to see you again in the near future! Have a great summer!

Sincerely,
