I am a skeptic, but all of the negative reviews seem to be off. We stayed for 3 nights and never once had an issue with the property or staff. The grounds were well-kept and the staff was ALWAYS friendly. The only negative thing I can say is that their pillows are not the most comfortable. That being said, the room was clean and well-maintained. The office provided for all of our needs, which was a plus. If you are ever in Juneau, check this place out!

We chose this hotel because they have airport transportation. This alone in both directions is worth about $70.00. We arrived at the hotel and walked in the office. It smelled awful from air freshener . We went to our room and it was ok. 2 twins but the beds were awful and the room very dated.. The room was ok clean not great. We had no cable box, no remote, no luggage stand and no hair dryer. All these were delivered and with profuse apologies. They did adjust our bill (which we did not expect) . I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was off season and I would try them again during a busier time. PLUS the airport transportation was a bonus.

The decor was very plain and basic, with painted cinder block walls. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was a reasonable price for what we got. The shuttle also took us to the ferry terminal when we left at a very early hour without a hitch.

Hotel is a great location in downtown Juneau, with reasonable rates. The staff is very accommodating, from having the rooms ready on time, storing our luggage while we went to Gustavus for two nights and came back for our flight out of Juneau. The shuttle service to and from the airport is dependable, and our shuttle driver, Dayla was a real help in pointing out things to see in town and making a special trip for us.

We stayed one night here prior to an Alaskan Cruise. The room was old but comfortable. Plus was a little ante room where luggage could be put and for hanging clothes. Ours did not have a kitchenette. Staff very pleasant. Great cafe next door which serve very large meals.
