We took an excursion off the Celebrity Solstice last week into the Tracy Arm Fjord. Everything was spectacular. On the way in to the South Sawyer Glacier, we saw seals floating on the ice chunks. Once we approached the South Sawyer Glacier, we saw the falls to the right amidst the ice flow. While videotaping the glacier, we were able to capture a calving...how spectacular. We then went to the North Sawyer Glacier and saw more seals. The ice at both glaciers are so blue. When leaving the glaciers, we saw four mountain goats feeding on the mountainside, one bear high up on the mountainside, and a pod of transient orca whales, spouting and gliding through the pretty green water. The snow capped peaks were spectacular as well. We were so glad we decided to join this excursion.
