“Spectacular!”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

Can't say enough about this sightseeing trip. We cruised to the top of the fjord aboard Celebrity Infinity and saw the glacier up close and personal. The captain turned that ship around on a dime too. We saw waterfalls, seals, ice, and fantastic rock walls. The balcony was handy for this trip, and then the captain opened the helicopter pad at the front of the ship, and there I went for up close pics. A beautiful place. We were here in September, 2010, but I didn't have that date selection for this review.

“wonderful place to cruise”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

very cold for us North Queenslanders however we were prepared for the climate. Hot tea, soup and chocolate supplier by our Holland America Cruise was a great help in keeping warm-ish.

“Better than Glacier Bay”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

I've been to Glacier Bay and to Tracy Arm Fjord. My favorite time is late May when the seals have pups on the ice floes. I've been up the Fjord 4 times and never tire of its beauty. Better than Glacier Bay because you get up close and personal instead of cruising in the middle of the bay.

“Wow!”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

Wow! Tracy Arm was the most visually stunning excursion on our trip. If you go to Southeast Alaska, you really should go to Tracy Arm. Reserve a seat with Adventure Bound Alaska for around $150 and prepare to get your socks knocked off. Imagine yourself motoring through a partially submerged Yosemite Valley with towering cliffs all around you, as you spot whales, seals and other wildlife on your way to the Sawyer and South Sawyer tidewater glaciers. Adventure Bound maneuvers their small boats amongst all the icebergs to bring you in close to the glacier calving action.

This ranks #1 on my list for great single-day excursions. If you are in Juneau, make a day free to visit Tracy Arm.

“Beautiful”

Just a remakable fjord. Words or pictures just don't do it justice. Ice Bergs of all shades of blue, waterfalls everywhere, steep sheer granite cliffs, Wow
