This is a casual bar type restaurant. Food was good. Recommend the crab sampler so you can try king, snow and dungeness together to see the differences. Very expensive. Service was outstanding.

From the hurried-acting, inattentive waitress to the mediocre food coupled with the over-the-top prices, there's no way I would return.
The views out over the harbor are nice, yes, but.........

Wife and I went on a Friday night with out reservations which I would recommmend. We had originally decided to go to the Twisted Fish but they were hosting a private party and were closed.
Only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table which was OK considering how busy the place looked. Several cruise ships were in port and I am sure that added to a Friday night rush.
Can't comment on the supposed harbor views since we were almost sitting in the kitchen.
Waiter seemed harried and kind of sullen but he came around after I began talking to him and by the end of the evening he was pretty chatty.
Food was good and they served ample portions. I had a steak and the wife had a shrimp dish which she said was fine.
Maybe we just had a bad night but the place just seemed hectic and loud and it appeared they may have been short on staff.
If you want a chance at the harbor view make sure you have reservations.
When we return to Juneau I would try other places first just for the variety. Actually this seemed more like a place for a good luch than a relaxed evening meal.
I guess to sum up it felt like eating at a chain resturant.

The crabcakes were mostly filler--a dead loss. The halibut was mediocre, the fries likewise. The servers? some were attentive, and otherrs were....umm, eccentric. The only thing to recommend the place is the great view of the harbor, but I daresay other, better restaurants had that too.
