“Did a quick stop by for a drink”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

It was packed. Animals on the walls, sawdust ALL over the floor and piano man playing. What a site. My husband and I aren't drinkers but it was cool to see it. Got souvenirs next door. By the time we left, people were lined up to come in at the saloon swinging doors. Fun to see.

“Adult refreshments”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

Beer thirty was just what we needed one afternoon. The beers were good, the snacks were quite good and our server was excellent. I low expectations as I thought the place would be something tailored for big crowds from the cruise ships but, to the contrary, it felt like an individualized happy hour.

“You have to try the Duck Fart...”

Wonderful atmosphere and good food.
Dont forget to have your picture taken with one of the waitresses and the piano man.
Look out for Wyatt Earp's gun on the wall up behind the bar...

“Worth a visit - but this is the definition of Tourist Trap!!”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

Two boys from Ketchikan apparently bought this for a million buck a couple of years back and they are raking in the cash. The place is over the top, but worth a look. Sawdust all over the floor - fun but not if you have any kind of dust allergy (you've been warned). There is piped music - not Alaskan and overpoweringly loud. You will have a tough time telling your friends what you think about the very cool interior. There is a pole with a bear about to eat a man, both many feet up. The place is crowded when the ships are in port - but then again what did you expect.

The food and the drink are a little expensive - even for Alaska. The locals do NOT come here. The food is okay, but the menu is boring!!

You should definitely go - take a look - but there are better places to eat and drink
