“Grantly is the Best!”

I cannot say enough good things about Captain Grant and the amazing whale watching he led us too! Bubble netting humpbacks, eagles, glaciers, and outstanding fishing! All while being comfortable on the Equinox. He's funny, smart, very engaging, and has that special something that makes any outing with him give you that special "once in a lifetime" feeling. Can't wait go get back to Juneau and experience our next adventure together!

“Best Time Fishing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2012

This was a huge highlight of our trip. I took my 17 year old daughter and I on Grants boat. Not only does the boat have great fishing gear, it's an awesome catamaran. Grant was really outgoing and fun. He made us feel really comfortable. We caught to really nice fish too. Ted, our 87 year old other fishing partner caught a big fish. The weather was great, btr if it's rainy the boat would be great too. Don't miss this. Tracey Arm was nice but this was way better if you are trying to plan your day.

“great way to spend the afternoon!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2012

we were in Juneau for the day with no plans - just happened to walk into a tourist info center and was able to book an afternoon charter for 4 with Capt Annette and Wyatt out of Auke Bay. We caught our limit of big halibut along with a cod and a fre rockfish within a couple of hours! The boat and crew were perfect! scenery was awesome too! Snacks and soda, water were provided and there is a bathroom on board. Fish were cleaned, taken to Jerry's for shipping and they arrived the following week frozen and cryo-sealed. Hope to return next year for a two-day charter for halibut, salmon, cod, rockfish!

“Greatest whale watching trip possible! :)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2012

29 July 2012 is a day which we will never forget aboard the Eclipse with Capt Grant at the helm. From the very start of our journey being shuttled to and from our cruise ship, we were given an excellent tour of the town of Juneau by the driver. Capt Grant gave us an equally outstanding whale watching tour. Started off by seeing sea lions hanging out on a buoy and then cruised around past a beautiful view of a glacier. We started to see a few whales in the distance waiving their tales several times for quite a while out of the water when about 6 Dall Porpoise came playing all around our boat and then swam off with the whales. As we were moving along admiring the scenery, suddenly 7 humpback whales started bubble net feeding right in front of us. They did this seven times. How awesome is that. What a show! We highly recomend anyone and everyone to have Grantly Moore take you on a whale watching tour.

“Wonderful trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012

My family and I enjoyed our trip with Moore's Charters on the Eclipse and with Annette (?) and Wyatt.  They gave us a memorable trip and lots of personal attention!  Although we didn't catch a lot of fish, we were awarded with the experience of seeing the whales "bubble net feed" which was absolutely amazing!  They allowed us to combine a whale watching trip with fishing and got to see stellar sea lions as well.  Having just my family on the boat made for a very special trip for us and Annette made sure we got to do and see everything we wanted to.  It was great!
