It was nice and the owners are very nice and stewards of the land they manage. There is a little trail with guidebook illustrating the plants. In June there were a lot of flowers, but there were beautiful wildflowers elsewhere. I would go again if I had time to spare.

we toured this garden on a shore excursion from a cruise ship, the walk takes all of 5-10 minutes, and there was nothing but trees... the same trees growing across all of Alaska. i confused this with the Glacier rainforest gardens. was dissapointed.

the Americans have the peculiar habit of flavoring tea with strange tastes, this place was no exception

Some how I confused this garden with Glacier gardens when I booked this excursion on my cruise. We had a short 30 minute visit to walk the trail with a paper guide provided by the owner that listed the name of the tree & plants on the path. It was way to early in the Spring for any blooming flowers unfortunately. (other than the skunk cabbage). However, it was really nice to see the rain-forest. The muffins and tea served were very good. The owner was a very friendly pleasant host.

This was part of a shore excursion we took. It was a little early in the season to see anything in bloom. But it was a nice short walk. The flora that was there was beautiful and interesting. The hosts were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the tea and muffins.

It's not a curated botanic garden as much as a trail with some placards and a number keyed map highlighting the natural flora of the rainforest. There was no narrated tour for our group, it was self-guided. We had this as part of a cruise shore excursion. As such, we didn't have all the time we'd have liked to read all the placards. Others in our group breezed through in a very short time. It was interesting to see the types and kinds of plants that grow in this area in contrast to our home area. If you have an overall interest in gardens wherever they are, this would be a good stop.
