The owner is on site daily. The access to a delightful kitchen and fireplace was incredibly convenient. The room was modern and "swedish' clean. The bed very comfortable. This is a cozy gem in the middle of Juneau with walking access to the best of downtown and the waterfront.

The SIlverbow is a darling little place in downtown Juneau. Free parking and walking distance to everything downtown. My friend and I stayed only one night. We did have a booking issue . It was resolved but no apologies or explanation. The room was super clean and well thought out. Every inch of space was utilized. The problem for us was that we both had 50 pound suitcases and there was no elevator, no one to help us and the room was so small nowhere to put 2 bags. We improvised. No problem. Very noisy hallway bit everyone calmed down around 11. Breakfast in off season is a just a continental type but there were lots of choices and great coffee and espresso.
If I stayed going I would try to book a larger room but none were available when we stayed.

Hi there Patty, Thanks for the great comments. We just built a room on our first floor for just these reasons! Let us know next time and we will be sure to book you into it. If that is not available we would also be happy to schedule a staff member to be at the front desk at your arrival time to help you up the stairs with the luggage. We do try to make it as easy as possible for our guests to enjoy our unique property. See you again!

I had a wonderful stay this past weekend at the Silverbow. I enjoy it so much that I take an annual staycation here. The beds are really comfy, the breakfast is well stocked and delicious and the view from the rooftop hot tub is lovely. There are fun details like rubber duckies for your tub and purple polka dot robes. I’ll be back!

Great little boutique hotel in a prime location. Fabulous service, cute touches all over the place, comfy stay, has all you need and can easily accommodate anything extra. Absolutely loved it - be back.

Some of the things we had a problem with aren’t the fault to the Inn. The street level noise from the bars letting out is loud. The trash pick up on the street was 6 am and loud. The wind caused the building to creak and groan. Some things were a problem with staff training. The receptionist that checked us in couldn’t seem to figure out that if we paid a deposit, we didn’t need to pay the full price at check in. At breakfast, it was hard to get to the coffee or self serve food because the staff was fixing their coffee and food. The rooms are tired and small. Overall, just not a great stay.

We apologize for anything the Inn could have done better and we are training our new hires to be more efficient at check-in and we have informed staff that breakfast is for the Inn guests. David
