We were looking for a place to stay in Homer, and were originally looking at a few of the larger B&B's. We were there for an anniversary so decided that the winery met our privacy needs a bit better than the others.
There are only 2 units, but the room was plenty big enough and nice enough for us. We loved the hot tub, but didn't get a chance to use the Sauna. We wished that we could have been there later in the season when the flowers were out, but the hosts were great and the setting peaceful and romantic - even with one other rental right next door.
The wine is pretty good (excellent by Alaska-made standards), albeit a bit expensive, and their breakfast voucher system was appreciated much more than the muffins and juice that most B&Bs offer.
We'll be back, but would probably aim away from the summer season to avoid the high peak rates (not much higher than other places when you consider the free breakfast vouchers).
Our only complaint is the $50 charge for late check in - with only 2 units and the owners being right on site there shouldn't be a charge for arriving after 6 and before 10 PM - an envelope with a key and instructions (rules) would have been fine too.
