This is a really nice visitor center and it is FREE. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They showed us several National Geographic films on request. I enjoyed the ecology exhibits.

This place is definitely worth stopping at. Hands on experiences for children, a great tool for understanding Alaska's history as well as the eco-system in this area of the state.
