“Very Interesting Visit”
Reviewed September 28, 2011

This is a must for anyone interested in wildlife (and why would you visit Alaska if not?) Lots of information about the wildlife reserve and how people have impacted on it from the Russion fur traders to WW2. They have 2 very interesting films screened every 15 mins. Nice clean rest rooms, small gift shop and a guided walk in front of the centre. Good for kids too.

This was a worthwhile stop with an interesting variety of exhibits. We recommend that you walk the beach trail that starts at the Center. Admission is free.

“A nice stop”
Reviewed August 11, 2011

This is a relatively new museum open free to the public. Alaskan history is thoughtfully presented. Seemed there were a lot of people killing time before their boat or bear tours started. It's not a huge museum so it's perfect for that.
