I was very excited to hear that there was going to be a donut bakery in town. Once I visited, I was happy to see some standards, and some interesting variations of toppings on their donuts.
I like that they have cake donuts, but a nice, warm, yeasty raised glazed would be nice. Or a cruller. Or a longjohn. Or anything other than just cake donuts.
BUT, don't let this turn you away! This is a fun, delicious way to get your donut fix (while the wife shops!)
