Beds are very comfortable, the hotel is within walking distance from the beach and a nice bakery, There is free coffee in the lobby all day long. Walls are extremely thin, however. You can hear every movement your neighbours make. Overall, it is a good place to stay.

Check in was friendly and the lobby is very interesting. They even left us with a small bottle of champagne with two glasses to toast our anniversary. The night was short because we had to get up early to go fishing but the bed in room 25 was so very comfy we wished we could have slept more. Good cotton linens, clean rooms and common area, large bathroom with two shower heads which we couldn't get to work but are sure it was the operators.View is probably spectacular but we happened to arrive on a foggy day. Oh well. Highly recommend-would stay there again!

The Driftwood RV Park is one of the cleanest and nicest places to stay in Alaska while enjoying the great outdoors! The showers and the bathrooms are impeccable and heated. The campground has an incredible ocean view and is situated next to some of Homer's finest establishments. The staff is professional, efficient, and friendly. What a true gem!

We had a conference in Homer and the Driftwood Inn was a great place to stay. It was right on the beach and convenient to lots in town. We stayed in the Bluffview Lodge, which has a nice shared area with a kitchen and living room looking out across a nice lawn onto Kachemak Bay. We stayed in a room with a king bed on the main floor and 2 additional beds in a loft. They were very comfortable and clean. The bathroom has a heated floor and is large, with a 2-person jacuzzi and a 5' X 5' shower with 3 shower heads - all very clean. The people running the Inn are super nice - like everyone else we met in Homer. All in all a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay at a good price.

Room Tip: The In itself is not as close to the water as the lodges/cottages, so make sure you ask them about w...

Camped here on an RV trip around Alaska last summer. This was the best place we stayed. Clean facilities, beautiful views, and really helpful people staffing the small RV park and adjacent hotel. Homer is pretty spread out, more than it seemed from the guidebooks. We were able to walk to a few galleries from the Driftwood, but we needed a cab for the Spit and for some restaurants. However, I don't think there would be anywhere in Homer for an RV'er to completely go wheelless.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the spacious accommodations, fabulous views and peaceful-homey feel. The staff met every need with a smile and we would definitely return to the Driftwood Inn the next time we journey to Homer. Hands down a suburb value and great family destination. We loved the short walk to the water and hiking along the coast.

We stayed in Homer at the Driftwood Inn before doing some camping. The room was only slightly more expensive than the yurts we were camping in! Such a terrific value. The room was clean, cozy, and we had impeccable service. The staff here truly cares about your stay and went out of their way to be helpful, even offering us some extra homemade baked goods! (Speaking of which, it's a short walk down the road to Two Sisters Bakery (http://twosistersbakery.net), which is a must-visit for a coffee to-go and a walk along the beach. We loved our stay here so much, we booked again on our way home, instead of driving up the coast and staying somewhere else, as we had planned. This place is a gem, and a definite must for a quintessential Homer experience! Thanks for making our trip great.
