This is a great little stopping point to kick back and have a few drinks after a day of deep sea fishing or as we did fly fishing.

It was a great place to go with our group and just have a laugh. We added to the numerous dollar bills that covered the walls and can't wait to go back and find them again. Yes it's for tourists and is small and doesn't offer much but it's what you make of it; so make it a great time and enjoy Homer!

Our Alaskan friends insisted we stop here while visiting Homer and we're so glad we spent the evening here! We had a great time enjoying the local Homer Ales and chatting with other folks who sat down at our table. Bring a dollar to tack on the wall!

A quirky little pub with friendly bar tenders and great brew. The patrons were many and from all over the world as well as some very nice local fishermen. A great place to meet new people, swap fav things to see and do in Alaska. We had to get a T-shirt and hat to bring home to show we had been there!

One of a kind, must stop for a drink kind of place! Friendly bartenders ~ a great way to experience Homer in between excursions!

Not sure why this is under "attractions" as it is a bar. Plain, simple. Just a fun bar.

Not only is the drive itself one of the most beautiful drives in Alaska, with snow shrouded mountaintop falling off into crashing waves surrounded by forested hillsides, to say nothing of the glacier, bay and spit that encompasses Homer Spit, but this is tourist heaven. Yes, it is dark and campy with thousands of dollar bills taped and pinned everywhere, but the staff is friendly and the drinks are large (even though they are a bit pricey). You HAVE to try the local Homer beer, sold nowhere else but in Homer. It is worth the drive itself. I've been to the area three times in the last 5 years, stopped into the Salty Dawg all 3 times, and came out having a great time and feeling good. Only downgraded to a 4 due to drink prices. Make the drive. Have fun!
