We are ardent fans and frequent customers of Maura's Deli and Cafe in Old Town Homer... We once again enjoyed a fabulous lunch (curry chicken sandwich w/ delicious home-made borscht and tomato basil soups) and the delightful ambiance of this warm, cozy, and comfy place. Everything there, from the coffee and yummy dessert treats, to the delicious sandwiches/soups/salads, are marvelously prepared with fresh ingredients, and served by a very friendly and efficient staff. We've never been disappointed with our meal here, and we're really glad to see that she's #1 on TripAdvisor for Homer eateries! (Helpful hint -- arrive a bit earlier or later than the usual noon time lunch crowd to ensure that you get a seat in one of their two dining areas.) Thanks Maura :))) !

Well we found a little part of Homer we never knew existed on my previous trip, mainly due to lack of time but this time we got a chance to have more of a look around and glad we did as we found Maura`s,the sandwiches are fanastic and good value for money! Definitely enough to keep you going until late in the day. Really nice feel to the Cafe, very unassuming.

Our family stopped here to get lunch before driving up to Seward. All of us loved our sandwiches and also the tomato basil soup. We also really liked the way it was decorated and wondered why we didn't have such a nice sandwich place in our hometown. I would recommend for lunch.

Ate here because of high ratings on TA. Everything was very greasy and potatoes in root hash were burnt.
Service was terrible. We had to ask for utensils and napkins. We asked for ice for our drinks and were told not until after 11 AM.
Waitress was stressed running to another dining room that was attached to this restaurant.
Everything was expensive and we went to McDonald's when we left because my son could not eat his omelet.
Unless you like meals over the top this is not the place for you.
I am adventurous but my mom and son are not.
