We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cove! We had fresh bread and homemade yogurt each morning. The host was so accommodating and the rooms and bed were very comfortable. It was the best Bed and Breakfast on our trip. Bring your night shades if you are sensitive to the Alaska night lights in the summer as there were not black out shades. I would highly recommend to include in your itinerary.

We spent one night at the Cozy Cove, and while in hindsight we should've stayed another, we come away with nothing but fond memories of the place. We stayed in the Bear Paw apartment, which was incredibly spacious and clean, with million dollar views to match. The B&B is far enough away from the charming hoot 'n holler of Homer that you feel you're staying at a secluded hideaway, but convenient enough that driving into town was very easy. Out hostess was lovely and made us a tasty breakfast that she delivered to our apartment, so we could eat and admire the view. A fantastic place that I'd recommend to anyone heading down this way!

We stayed 1 night at the Cozy Cove Inn and we are glad we did! The price is very competitive area for the area and we felt our stay was well worth it. We stayed in the 'Forget-me-Not' suite. The only negative is that the room isn't 100% soundproof - you can hear the noises from the living room or you can hear noises from the room above the suite. Other than that, everything was great! The room was incredibly spacious with an extremely comfortable king bed. The bathroom was also huge - a jacuzzi tub, large shower, double vanity sink. Plenty of towels (hotels usually only give you two towels). Marcella has two pets, a dog (stays mostly outside) and a cat. We have 2 cats at home so having the cat around made it feel even more like home for us. The Bed and Breakfast is ran from Marcella's home (she lives there year round), so you truly do feel like you're staying at a relative's house. The home is decorated with family pictures, a full living room set-up, kitchen set up, etc. Marcella is extremely kind, friendly, and caring. She was able to help us with any questions we had or items we needed. She made us a very tasty breakfast the next morning. Be sure to ask for the Kodiak pancakes, they were AMAZING! Her home also has some very pleasing views. If you are looking for a place to stay in Homer, choose this Inn and you will not be disappointed! Marcella also deserves 5 stars for her hosting ability! Thanks Marcella!

Room Tip: Forget-Me-Not suite has a more homey feel since it is located inside the home.

We stayed in the Bear Paw Studio Apartment for 2 nights in June 2012. The apartment was so comfortable, beautifully furnished, and everything was immaculate.
The breakfasts were superb and Marcella made us feel very welcome.
We loved Homer, and the views from Cozy Cove are amazing.
If we ever return to Alaska we would spend more time in Homer and Cozy Cove Inn would be be our first choice.

The Bear Paw Studio Apartment at Cozy Cove B&B is spectacular. I enjoyed the panoramic Alaskan view and appreciated the generous hospitality. I booked this very private apartment as a winter retreat more than once over the winter season. Marcella hosted with an eye to detail for my traveling needs and keeps an immaculate yet comfortable suite. Alaskan through and through.

Room Tip: Marcella hosts a wonderful suite withing the main house. I chose the loft style apartment with fine...

The hostess, a long time Alaskan, keeps a very clean B&B and is an excellent cook. We enjoyed our stay with her thoroughly. She asked about food allergies when we first arrived and adjusted her plans for breakfast so that it would be dairy-free for me. Don’t know what I liked best: the mushroom omelets, the homemade jams or the smoked salmon. It was all superb. The home has a dog and a cat, which roam the main house. We enjoyed the animals, but allergy sufferers might not.

We stayed at Bentler Bear Paw last time in AK. When we planned out trip this summer we wanted to go back & bring our kids to see the sights. We arranged our trip around the availablitity of this B&B, it is that good. When you arrive you get greeted by a super sweet and friendly dog Latawny. The B&B is not typical of any room - it is more like a flat - very roomy. All five us of were very happy & comfy here @ Cozy Cove. Marcella is hand down the best host in Alaska, Breakfast was amazing every morning. Her knowledge and friendliness goes above and beyond. My husband & I both walk everyday and the scenery for our hour walks are amazing on Skyline road. Moose were seen every day & the views are the best. I really could go on & on above how much I like this place. The best compliment is that I will reccomend it to all & I came on to this site just to give this review. Highlight of our accommodations yet again for our trip.

Room Tip: it really was that good!!
