We ate breakfast at the Caribou Thurs, May 9th. The breakfast menu was good. The waitress didn't know much about caribou sausage vs. reigndeer sausage which were on the menu. She seemed sort of new and if so should have had some help. At least the prices were good - have found that a lot of the places we were at in AK seemed to be overpriced at least compared with our home state of PA. The Caribou seems to be trying to look like your grandmother's kitchen or dining room. It does an OK job of it. It did not seem to be real clean though. The vinyl table coverings were not very clean. The place seemed sort of dusty and unkept. But, the food was good!
