In June of 2008 we stayed in one of the two bedroom cabins for a few nights. Our family has had it's share of "hotel row" type accomadations so this was perfect. Quiet and out of the way yet only 10 minutes from the Park or Healy.
Would quantify that this is not what we call a B&B. Typically at a B&B you are lodged with other guests in close quarters sharing a meal and often a bathroom. We like cabins such as this for the privacy.
The property is up on a ridge, as the name implies, but is not a difficult drive and it is easy to get to.
Cabins are basic but clean and well maintained. Breakfast of cereals and bagels was just fine and all we wanted before a day of animal watching for ATV riding. The hosts are great and very helpful.
Would stay there again and in fact we are! Going back to Alaska specifically for fishing and staying one day here.More
