Description: Whether ordering a burger the size of your head, Alderwood smoked ribs that fall off the bone, or a local organic salad the food at the 49th will not disappoint. Our award winning craft beer is brewed on premises and can be enjoyed in the beer garden while playing disc golf, bocce ball, horseshoes, or bags. The 49th's outdoor concert series brings acts such as: The Wailers, Trampled by Turtles, Dark Star Orchestra, Keller Williams, Pato Banton, and Matt Lewis and the Medicine. The "Into the Wild" bus from the movie is in the garden and visitors are welcome to go aboard to see the memorabilia on display. As we are located 8 miles north of the Denali hub, we offer a local shuttle for a worry free visit.

Good music, drinks and people. Try the root beer they brew themselves. Excellent. The replica bus from the movie "Into the Wild" is in their parking lot.

We really enjoyed this place. We have a tour of the brewing system and the man that led the tour was very knowledgeable. Their beer was great. Only open in the summer. They had a huge selection of whiskey. It is a pub atmosphere which we enjoy.

Ate there twice during my Denali visit. Busy place with classic Alaskan decor. Great selection of quality beer and varied menu.. Popular with locals and tourists. Food was great the first night, but the halibut fish and chips was perhaps a little over cooked the second night. Would definitely go back again. 20 minutes north of the Park entrance.

Amazing food, great staff, outside games to play and then you can pop into the shop and buy a t-shirt as a souvenir.

Given how remote this is, I didn't expect much. Instead, food was great, wide variety of beer and a really fun atmosphere.
