“Where to go for comfort food & beer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

This was a great dinner spot with hearty food and a large beer selection. The atmosphere is fun inside and out - with an indoor fire pit and the Into The Wild movie bus in the large outdoor area. Another must stop for your Denali trip!

“We went twice!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

We were visiting Denali for two nights and we went to 49th State both nights! The food was delicious with lots of different options, and the beer was fantastic. Over the course of two nights we ate a yak burger, bison meatloaf, mac and cheese and ribs. It was all great. And we had a different server each night and they were both awesome. Plus, you can visit the bus (the movie prop) from Into The Wild right in front of the brewery. If we are ever in Alaska again, we will definitely go back.

“Great beer, food ok”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

The beer here is the real attraction. The food was fine, but overpriced. The portions were very large, but overall there was nothing amazing about the food itself. The beer is worth more than one visit though, especially to really taste as much as you can and still get home. This was a great place to come after spending some time in Denali.

“Good drinks”

The drinks we had were pretty good and the place looked awesome. I was surprised how many people were there an how late they're actually open. And they had a good outside area.

“Good Food, AMAZING Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

The food is good, but the ambience makes up for anything lacking in the food. There are activities galore to do and the food is good for a bar setting. The whole family enjoyed this place so much we ate dinner there 2 nights in a row!
