This evening wildlife viewing tour was great fun. Our guide was perfect, the view sites were private. This intimate tour gave us great sightings of bear, seals, bald eagles, and many other bird species .
I think a guide makes these small trips, so we were grateful that the guides knowledge was so indepth , and that she was prepared to go overtime for our viewing. Thanks terra, would highly recommend this tour for all, we had been in town for 4 hours and the tour was great grounding to work from.

We took a very scenic hour long boat ride to Haines to do the tour and were met by Terra & Stacie who even had binoculars for us to use for the tour. They were very knowledgable about all of the animals, plants & vegetation that we saw on the bus ride and then on the short hike. We saw several eagles including and eaglet, birds, ducks and best of all a brown bear and her cub up close catching salmon in the water!!! Great tour! Thanks ladies!!

We spent the entire morning in the pouring rain looking for eagles, bears and whales along the coast, river & lake. No bears or whales, but we did see a seal & some eagles on nests and flying. The guides really made up for the lousy weather with lots of information and stories.

Very nice tour. Just a regular bus ride down the river. Got to get close to a brown bear, see Bald Eagles, Habor Seals, Dall Porpoises. The guides were very knowledgable. We made trips up and down the river waiting for the bear. Would recommend and would go again.

Wow! What an amazing trip! We were picked up at our motel by a very friendly lady called Judy. She drove us to a local lake and stream feeding into the sea where we had magnificent views of bald eagles, brown bears and spawning salmon. At one point, we were about 10ft away in the van from a beautiful female grizzly fishing and eating salmon for her supper. Managed to get fantastic photos - the best of our whole trip. Judy was also very enthusiastic about all aspects of nature so was pointing out native plants, trees and most importantly for us, birds! Her local knowledge was wonderful and we had a fantastic evening– couldn’t have been better, a real slice of Alaska.
