Really enjoyed out time here. The innkeepers Eric and Cynthia. were very relaxed and hospitable. We felt at home right from the start. Our room had a private bath with a tub that was big enough to soak in, ahhh.......The next morning Eric make us a delicious breakfast of fresh blueberries pancakes. Conversation with the innkeepers was great and very informative. I would recommend it to anyone.

We spent one night here on our way from Healy to McCarthy. It was a great place to break the journey and wonderful to be welcomed into a comfortable home after a long day on the road. The rooms were attractive and comfortable and everything was immaculately clean. Our hosts provided a delicious home-cooked breakfast and gave us all kinds of helpful information and ideas for places to see and things to do as we continued with our trip.

the realtors and owners love to use the common area for their lounging parties drinking, at night they are loud boisterous, later they move to the common quiet area, ,, of course a realtor would love these people, the bedroom was so tiny entering through a small door to a small bedroom, all for owners is awesome, all for travellers is small and expensive 50 per night, breakfast moose sausage , was limited but tasty,, shower was huge, almost as big as bedrooms, wifi was good and location, well there is nothing there, so , expensive stop to valdez or north, the woman told us 105 for two, the man told us 100, and there is no tax, so who was gouging who, yeas they are friendly, watch your wallet, i gave low rating to balance the extreme rating which is false, and undeserved, do not stay here unless you are stranded, groceries and gas expensive in this area, and for the small room, this b and b is also very expensive and where was the fun?? tv inroom didnt work, no channels, it was hidden,, so maybe we wouldnt use it, next time i ll not travel down east road, but return back way i came, and then go up toward this area, as views are awesome,up past palmer,

Room Tip: all rooms are tiny with queen beds, so there is no good rooms, at 50 a night, go to...

Awesome family style B & B. Nice and clean food is excellent! I stay there many times a year for work year round. Each room has their own private bath. Nice big front porch to sit and wind down from a long drive or a day or fishing. Cynthia and Eric are great hosts too!

Room Tip: All the room are clean and very comfortable beds, any room will work. She make pancakes and waffles...

My 2 teenage sons and I stayed for a week during a recent fishing trip on the Klutina River. Our room was upstairs on the 2nd level and it was cozy, comfortable and private. Just outside our room was a living room area with a futon, a couch and a table, which we had to ourselves when we wanted to relax.

I've stayed at other B&B's where the owners are somewhat cold and removed, but the Lutz's (host family) and their friends that help on occasion are extremely friendly and genuine. It is clear that they enjoy what they are doing, which makes staying there an absolute pleasure.

My partner and I had to quickly leave our ice climbing trip from Valdez due to an incoming blizzard. We booked it up the Glennallen highway and stumbled upon this place. The owners were so accomodating to our late night request for an immediate place to stay. They are extremley nice, easy going and easy to talk to people. We very quickly felt at home. I was sad to go only after one night of being there. Any tourist would have a wonderful time here. Not only are the owners just wonderful people to be around, but the home itself is a huge, beautiful home with a lot of woodwork and a very homey feeling to it. YOU WILL LOVE IT! STAY HERE ON YOUR LONG JOURNEY FROM FAIRBANKS TO VALDEZ AND EXPLORE THE COPPER RIVER VALLEY!!!

This was our first attempt at a bed and breakfast so we didn't know what to expect for sure. We got a call towards evening from the owners to check on how we were doing which was very nice. They made us feel right at home and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests who happened to be firefighters with lots of great stories about Alaska. The room was very clean and comfortable. The owners gave us some great travel advice on locations to see while in the area. They are great ambassadors for the state of Alaska. We would stay there again! (P.S. We ended up going to see the fish wheels in Chitina but also drove on down to Valdez and then on up to Big Delta which was a long drive but well worth it! Thanks again!!
