My husband, two daughters, and I stayed in the enchanted room for two nights. The room was very spacious and upscale with a glass door opening to a quaint porch on the edge of the forest. There is a hot tub attached to this room which is available to use all night, a plus in the land of the midnight sun. The beds were very cozy with plush, modern sheets and comforters. The main house is elegant, yet down to earth, and the common area is quite large.
Connie was very friendly, and she made fabulous breakfasts that had a wide variety of things to suit every taste, including fresh baked bread and gourmet jellies, homemade from exotic berries she picked herself in Alaska. Even after breakfast, there were always homemade cookies or some such thing lying out for guests. She was very informative about the surrounding area and directed us to a nearby wildlife conservation park that turned out to be the highlight of our trip. One of the nicest things about Connie was how nice she was to my daughters, ages six and seven. They loved talking to her, and she clearly adores children. We would definitely stay here again.
