Imagine a B & B that is immaculate, quiet, beautiful beyond comparison, accomodating, and hosts that make you feel right at home....that's what we found during our 6-night-stay at Hidden Creek Bed and Breakfast. Ron and Michelle know what they're doing and they're doing it right in every sense of the word! Their attention to detail (daily personalized printed breakfast menus!), freshly-baked goodies in the room each afternoon, and DEE-licious breakfasts plated with such appeal. Honestly, they've set the bar so high that it's going to be one heckuva challenge to find another B & B that remotely compares.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Wildflower Room and loved that it was a bit away from the other rooms.

We stayed at the Hidden Creek for 1 night in July. It was to be a quick overnight on our trip from Seward to Denali. I'm sorry we didn't stay longer. When we arrived around 7pm, there was a tray of fresh baked cookies waiting for us in our room - DELICIOUS. Michelle showed us around her home - the guest lounge (with TV, computer, DVDs, games, keurig, etc...) and hot tub. We went for a late dinner and arrived back at Hidden Creek ready to turn in after a long day. Our original plan was to do Crow Creek Mine and then hike Winner Creek trail to Alyeska resort the next day. But, by this point in the trip, we were all quite content to relax and enjoy the amazing breakfast experience that we had at Hidden Creek B & B. Ron and Michelle are amazing hosts. They provided us with menu options and we each selected a "cooked to order" breakfast. We decided to have a leisurely morning before setting out for the long drive to Denali. I can't say enough about Ron and Michelle and their B&B. It was a very special experience and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a B&B.

We have stayed in dozens of B & B's over many years and this wonderful home is right at the top. Before I lay out the numerous features that make Hidden Creek a top-notch facility, I must first say that Ron and Michelle are super people who are there to make sure that, not only do you enjoy your stay in their beautiful home, but your time in this wonderland of Alaska is the best it can be. Their concierge-style personal service is outstanding.

Now to the features that make this such an outstanding place to stay:

* 5-star room featuring comfortable king bed, extra-large two-head shower, flat screen TV, sofa, robe and slippers, and more. (Available suite is even more luxurious.)

* Common area featuring Kuerig brewer, fridge, games, books, DVD's, travel lit., computer and printer.

* Use of outdoor hot tub.

* Plate of scrumptious cookies awaits at the end of your day out traveling.

* Outstanding gourmet breakfast each morning with a printed menu featuring both the special of the day and optional menu selections.

* All at a price that will beat the crowded nearby lodge.

We stayed at the Hidden Creek B & B in the Alaskan Wildflower Room for two nights. The whole inn is beautiful. The rooms and common area were fabulous. The made to order breakfasts were delicious. The best I've had at a B & B. Ron and Michelle were wonderful hosts. They made us feel welcome and comfortable in their home. We really enjoyed talking with them during breakfast. All the furnishings, bedding, and towels are high end. This is a beautiful B & B and the owners take pride in making this a top notch place to visit. They have thought of everything to make you comfortable. We stayed in six B & B's on our trip and this was number one.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful.

We spent two (2) nights at this wonderful B&B. Michelle and Ron both have the gift of hospitality making folks feel welcome to their home. The Creekside suite was perfect for my wife and myself giving us our own space to relax on our vacation. There are lots of little touches that these folks provide that make the stay special. The freshly baked cookies, the stands for your bags, the spa robes, the individualized breakfast menus, the good conversation, etc. There is a reason their ratings are so high. It's because their service is near perfect.

Room Tip: The Creekside suite has a living area, a bedroom and a large bath with a great walk in shower. This...

My husband and I stayed at Hidden Creek during our first visit to Alaska. Everything about our trip went beautifully and our night at Hidden Creek was a special bonus. Ron and Michelle are perfect hosts and the guest area of their home is spacious and comfortable with every convenience one might need or want. The sheets were the best we have ever experienced away from home. The food was delicious. We hope to return.

Everything was perfect. The room was spacious and clean. The towels, linens and pillows were plush. The fixtures are all top-notch. The jet tub in the Creekside room is to die for. The common room is very comfortable with complimentary coffee and tea and many guide and photo books. A lot of thought obviously went into the design of the entire house, which is in Craftsman style. There is a large stained glass window in the dining room that is a work of art, and the tile work in the bathroom is custom. The breakfasts are made to order, there is a wide choice each morning ranging from decadent to diet, and portion sizes can be varied since they are made to order. All the food we tried was prepared right and delicious. The only downside is we are now spoiled for any other B and B.
