On the corner of Seward Highway and Alyeska Highway (south of Anchorage on the road to Seward, at the entrance to Girdwood), this small hole in the wall pizza place behind the Tesoro gas station is bizarrly enough the best pizza I've ever had in my life. With graffiti all over the interior walls, a pin-map of the world showing where all the diners have come from over the years, and a very unassuming location, the pizza we received was so good we devored a large pep/mushroom in seconds - plenty of hot tasty melted cheese, perfect crust, just the right amount of sauce. If you are driving from Anchorage to Seward stop here - worth a flight to Alaska - he should franchise this taste!!!!
