Very accommodating staff. Very good food. Beautiful setting on Prince William Sound.
Our return ferry cancelled by Coast Guard due to high waves and we had to return to Anchorage that day. Steve (owner) helped us get airline tickets on the only daily flight and arranged transport to airport. Put the car on next day's ferry and had someone drive it off onto dock. We picked it up later. Love the T shirts!
Very environmentally green.

Room Tip: Some rooms have kitchenette and some have deck.

We ferried to Cordova from Whittier...the ferry was contemporary and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights at Orca Adventure Lodge. The staff there was accommodating and super friendly. Our room was spacious and the two evening meals were outstanding. The Lodge was located just a couple miles from town, was beautifullly quiet with incredible views of the water and mountains. We toured the charming little village and surrounding areas, and my husband got some great fishing in. Although they offer fishing charters we went out on our own. Our Orca Adventure Lodgestay was perfect.

Room Tip: I always ask for a room with a view - ask for a room looking out at the water and mountains.

we booked this as a fishing trip which was amazing. lots of choices for doing things I found out after arriving. Brian at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as was Teresa. Our roon faced the bay with a wonderful view of jumping pink salmon. spent two days out in the gulf and caught our limit both days. came back with a 100 lb of fish. Did a fly in and the owner Steve drummed us in Martin lake where we literally got tired of catching fish. On the way back we fly over the glaciers. awesome. the owner and staff went out of there way,. food was fantastic,. this is a real value for Alaska. we did not see much wildlife but groups were there to do that as well as kayaking and hiking. It gives you an all round Alaskan experience.

We stayed for two nights here for the first leg of our Alaska adventure tour. Friendly owner and staff. Chef, Christian, makes a delicious spread for breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Will be back again If we land in Cordova again.

I was there with three friends and we had a wonderful time. Best fishing I have ever seen and they of course agreed and they have fished all their lives (we are all old fogies--means they have fished many years--it was my first time even though I am a relic of sorts)

The food was fantastic and was fit for a king. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating.
It was so great, we are returning this year. The rooms were great and we had a blast that is why we are going back. Well worth the money

Room Tip: We had four different rooms and all were excellent--

Excellent lodge. We stayed for two nights. We had our car so getting to the lodge and to town was not an issue. The room was very big, very clean, and had WiFi. The room had beautiful view with an exit to a veranda you can sit and watch. The hotel personnel were friendly and courteous. The restaurant was not something I’d rave about, the food was decent, and the desert “berry rhubarb crisp” was superb… The tour to cooper river delta and Childs glacier we did with Steve Ranney and his wife was excellent in spite of the cold rainy days. Excellent!

Steve is great, his staff are hard working no nonsense, and do an amazing job providing a real Alaskan experience. No, the place isnt a 5 star hotel whatsoever but thankfully a perfect getaway for most reasonable people.

The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and always ready to make your experience better then you ever imagined possible.

My advice, ride a cruise ship up to Alaska and when you are tired of the corporate b.s. and endless jewelry stores end your trip with the real deal Alaskan experience.

You will be glad you did.
