“All the comforts of home”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

It has been many years since we stayed at the Prince William. The first thing my husband noticed was the flat screen tv. With 99 channels he was thrilled! I noticed how absolutely clean it it was and how comfortable the beds were. It had everything we needed. Brand new refrigerator with freezer, microwave, stove, coffee pot in the room, iron and ironing board. Double pane windows to keep the cold out and plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. The bathroom even had a vanity mirror with magnifer to apply makeup!!! You can't beat the location, right uptown and walking distance to everything. The staff was very friendly. We will surely stay here again when we come back to visit Cordova!

That title doesn't sound flattering, but I've been to 11 different towns in Alaska on business, and many, many of them would be "lousy" in the lower 48. That's life in Alaska - roughing it is expected, and part of the charm - it ISN'T fancy, but the rooms here are clean, they have kitchens, comfortable beds, very good internet connectivity, and pretty spacious rooms. They're very comfortable; I was pleasantly surprised, and I WOULD stay here again. There are several restaurants in immediate walking distance; honestly, in this small town, virtually everything is in walking distance, though... Lol... Seriously, this is a pretty above-average hotel for Alaska. The people are friendly and the heat works really well... The kitchens have no plates, bowls, utensils or cookware, so come prepared, if you want to use the kitchen. Only $95 per night was good value, too. One negative - the walls are pretty thin, you can hear conversations pretty clearly from the next room.

Room Tip: Stay on the top floor.

There is nothing upmarket about this motel, but the rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. There were two suitcase racks which is always a plus. There was a kitchenette, but no crockery, cutlery or pots. A hairdrier was available on request. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a room with a kitchen. Decor is dark, very old fashioned and somewhat depressing - not a great idea for rain-soaked Cordova. View are all to a non-descript street. The room is full with posted warnings (don't steal the towels or warp fish in them...) and front desk not particularly friendly. Cleanliness is OK. If you do intend to cook in your room then there are full facilities and they do provide on request a box with complete dishes/cookware. The Orca Advernture Lodge (if you have a car) or the Reluctant Fisherman are probably better choices.

First impression was poor, but room turned out to be better than the outside. Poorly trained desk clerk was inept, indifferent, not helpful. "Kitchen" contained no pots and pans, plates, cups, flatware. No ice, no decaf. (No cabs in Cordova for a morning ferry departure.)

Stayed here with husband and 2 children, ages 6 and 1 for 2 nights. Spacious kitchenette was good call for us as there is a grocery store very close that you can walk to and a larger grocery store a short drive away. Make sure you ask for the kitchen dishes. Be forewarned that travel to/from Cordova by ferry can be dicey in the spring/fall and is subject to weather cancellation.

Grew up in Cordova and was back to visit friends. Booked my stay directly with the office.

Accomodations are centrally located, just steps away from main street. Within walking distance of two restaurants (that I was aware off being open this time of year), just steps away from one of two grocery stores.

The room was large, clean and quiet. What blows me away is that I can watch a Denver news channel in Cordova, Alaska, but not here in Grand Junction, Colorado!!!!

The desk clerk/owner was very friendly and we visited for a little bit, made me feel welcome.

Bed was very comfortable, shower was great, towels comfy. Very pleasant stay
