Went snorkelling here from the Sanctuary resort and was a great range of fish close to the shore and not many people in the water. Would recommend as a snorkelling location.

Easy access (some rocks and broken coral) and calm water as the reef is very wide so even at high tide waves are disapated. Lots of marine life. If you need equipement Big Dive is right across the road and they will check your valuables and you can park there if you rent.

If you like snorkeling, you can't miss Aroa Marine Reserve! Many kinds of fishes are in the lagoon, some of them even can be touched, not scared of people! Very good kayak too!

So many fish, but watch the strong currents in bad weather. Beautiful tropical fish, some opportunities for swimming through coral too.

Great snorkling with abundant schools of fish. Nice coral reef where fish hang out because they get feed bread often. Make sure you wear water shoes.
