Not just your boring tuna sandwich, The Mooring sandwiches are tasty and so yummy. Definitely will be back again real soon.

“Do not miss this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014 via mobile

Super fresh fish in a super spot. There's nothing to dislike about here - as long as you have your bug spray, which you need, as this is beachfront dining at its finest. Never a duff feed herd, so go and enjoy an unpretentious feast. Beautiful.

“what a find”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014

we can see why this place wins awards and is so popular. having read the other TA reviews there probably isn't much else to say, other than we equally recommend. it is not open 7 days a week.

“Spledid Mahi Mahi with salad; friendly repartee; smiling faces.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

I guess one of the main things in business is to enjoy what you do and here that they have enjoyment is spades. Ambiance here is great; they have al fresco dining next to the water, and a converted shipping container for the kitchen.

We had a drinking coconut to sip on while we were waiting for our meals; they had enough in them to keep us sipping for a full half hour. Our Mahi Mahi with salad dishes came after short time and they were excellent.

There is a sign on the road alluding to the World Famous nature of The Mooring Fish Cafe. My gut instinct tells me that any claim to the descriptor ‘Gourmet’ or ‘Awesome’ is implausible and according to the Tucker's first law of culinary self promotion, any claim to being ‘World Famous’ must, by its very nature be dodgy.

Well, for every inalienable law there has to be an exception and Tucker’s world famous law now comes with its first certified exception.... The Mooring Fish Cafe.
If you miss out on The Mooring Fish Cafe when on Rarotonga, you’re going to have to buy another air ticket (at least)!
