“Beautiful gardens”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Excellent food and friendly chef and staff. Lunch is particularly good value. The approach to the restaurant is particularly attractive at night, crossing over a bridge lit by flaming torches.

“Pleasant setting”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

The husband and I were staying across the road at Little Polynesian and had gone past this place a few times. I wandered over during a lunch service to have a look at the gardens and restaurant area and we decided to have our last night dinner there. The gardens are just beautiful and are by donation and it is worth it.

We arrived for our booking to find an "entertainer" attempting interaction with an audience who did not particularly appear to be willing to participate! In a small place, it is harder to hide and not respond. He either forgot words or admitted he didn't know them of a number of songs and the evening would have been much more pleasant without him!

The setting as you arrive is beautiful. Across a lit bridge and down a path and you open up to the lovely surroundings twinkling with fairy lights and the smell of cooking food. Our waitress was helpful and enthusiastic and her suggestions, as it turned out, were good. Service is slow and maybe the fish was a little overcooked by the time we got it but we enjoyed the evening. If it is a pleasant evening, ask for a table in the open. There appeared to be all sorts of interesting and intimate places to sit.

We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere but if you don't want entertainment, maybe come for lunch!

My sister & I had the pleasure of coming across this delightful restaurant....The staff were absolutely amazing & couldn't do enough for you...even offering to take your photos for you....as for the food...well...heaven comes close to mind......The lemon meringue pie is to die for...we went twice to this place & wandered through the extensive garden.....an absolute slice of Paradise....well done...we will definetly be back.
