What an awesome day out! Apii was the best tour guide ever! I can't wait to return and do it all over again! I will be having my hens day on the quad tour! I can not recommend this highly enough!

Went in on the Sunday afternoon and asked about prices but couldn't book as Monday they were going to cancel as not enough people booked (I guess those booked would just be told sorry at the last minute?). We went back on Tuesday as requested and they then said that they were going to charge an extra NZD95 each for the two kids riding as passengers as a 'change in policy' following a recent incident with another child who was too young to go as a passenger.

We argued that this wasn't fair after already quoting us and telling us to comeback and pay next week and they said we only had to pay for 1 extra child at NZD95. Needless to say we were not impressed and didn't do the activity as you need to trust an activity provider!

Surely if there was a safety problem you should change how you do the activity or the age limit, charging more is hardly a solution to inspire confidence? Plus you would expect them to hold the price quoted just a couple of days before?

Quad biking - I was terrified, had never been on a quad before and am not a confident person, but Api (the guide) was fantastic and made the whole trip fun. Quite pricey ($150 per person), but really enjoyed it. I'd highly recommend it for something different to do in Raro. Tuna sandwiches and juice after the trip were lovely.
The people in the office at Coconut Tours Rarotonga are really friendly and helpful. Would definitely use them again.

The suprise was how much we learn't about the island, the culture, and the fauna. And even how Turangi in New Zealand got its name. Our guide Appi was great. This was more a tour than a full on jungle adventure. Everyone in our group, including those who had never ridden a quad before got to enjoy it at their pace. And the last river crossing left everyone with a smile on their face
