“Pacific Divers in Rarotonga”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

We had a great time with these guys and girls and the dive was super. Professionalism was number one and knowledge of the sites was great. Fun dives all around. I did get a knot on the head showing off. Thanks and we hope to dive with Tom, Steve and Hayley again in the future!

“Friendly, professional dive company in Raro”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

* Professional and safe
* Small numbers
* Friendly
* Dive when you want to, even if just one of you
* Do everything for you; set up, carry, load, unload, rinse, hang and store - whether your gear or theirs

* No discount if you have own gear (but we didn't mind when they did everything for us)
* Reef is good but not world class

We chose Pacific Divers because they were close, and had a covered boat. We expected that all the Raro dive companies would be safe and professional so the choice was a marginal one for us. Good call though.

I give Pacific five stars for value, professionalism, friendliness, coaching etc. It is not five star in the facilities (and cheese toasties) but the equipment that keeps you alive, their solid hardworking helpful approach and 'dive when you want to dive' attitude is great. I did my advanced course, Usually with one instructor and one or two others on the course. Nice to have such small groups.

They charge the same whether you bring your own gear or not. At first I was a bit grumbly about this, but they offer a totally different service to others - they looked after our gear, assembled everything, knew exactly what was mine, what was may partners. They rinsed and hung everything, kept it safe for us throughout our stay and in general made it very easy.

We are used to doing everything ourselves, but it is really nice when you just don't have to worry about anything except buddy checks and then diving.

As for the actual diving - I would give Cook Islands 3 stars, compared to Byron Bay and the better parts of the Great Barrier Reef's 4 stars or Uepi (Solomon Islands) 5 stars. A 'well worn' reef with nice areas of fish but variable visibility.

Tom took us to Smurf City & Mai Tai. Amazing scenery and marine life. We were amazed at the amount of different sea life we saw! The staff were super helpful and considerate, always making sure we we're ok, felt safe and comfortable. Overall a very enjoyable, stress free dive, I would recommend Pacific Dive to anyone.

“Great time with the Awesome crew!”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

We had an excellent time diving with Pacific Divers in November 2012. The crew was very considerate, and safety was never a problem. No problems coming back into the lagoon between dives if we were feeling a bit sea sick (we are wimps!!).
We really enjoyed the night dive as well, very calm and relaxing. Highly recommended!!
