A very professional & organised crew - special thanks to Rebekah for leading us on our 4 hour trek up the mountain, around and back to the ranch. We appreciated your knowledge of the area & general flora details you shared, especially tasting the local berries! Highly recommend to anyone interested in a trail ride even if you have little or no experience as the horses are reliable, sure footed & steady!

We arranged a half day trail ride from the UK and found Alex to be very helpful in organising for our first visit to Alaska. The wranglers were very good and with a stables of c20+ horses they made a real effort to ensure you were on an appropriate mounts for your size/experience and the trail so you were comfortable and safe. The trail ride we did was a mountainous one which was fun, but as such had limited viewing points for the countryside around but the guide was very knowledgeable on all the local plant life which we found interesting to learn about.

Our family of four had an amazing trail ride with Duane. We did a 2 hour train ride that stopped at a beautiful lake.

There are so many things to do and ways to experience Alaska. We loved the ride with Alaska Horsemen. First and foremost, the horses were well maintained and kind and the ride was safe (trails, helmets and guidance). The operation is professional. Wrangler Randy made sure that we were comfortable and competent as we were "billygoatin" up and down the mountainside. Part of the fun of Alaska is sharing the experience with others. I cherish the day that we spent together on horseback and in the mountains. The views were spectacular and we were able to really experience the terrain. Note: The horses and bears manage to coexist, so I felt safe in the saddle, much safer than hiking, but that is me.
We will be back. I am already planning to ride more extensively upon the return. THANK YOU.
