We stayed 12 nights at the bungalow and it was so homely & relaxing. Miles & Niomi were so lovely couldn't ask for better. If we go back to aitutaki we will definitely be staying here again, the views are stunning😊 Great location

+ location looks nice, great view on the beach
- difficult to swim because water not deep
- see my pictures: accommodation needs to be renovated, especially the bathroom: broken door, a lot of mold, flush not working well, dirty ceiling, Rost covered dirty fridge, ...

It is not a well maintained accommodation!

If you want total peace and wonderful beachside accommodation you need look no further. A scooter or car is probably a must to get around.
Miles was a great host, pleasant and cheerful - always contactable and incredibly helpful and volunteered his help when we had difficulty contacting a tour operator to arrange a lagoon trip.
The reef in front of the accommodation was great for snorkelling and the kayak available was great fun
We spent 8 days here and would 100% recommend staying to anyone.
Thank you Miles and we so miss being there.

Room tip: All bungalows are beachside and great

After 2-weeks on Rarotonga, my husband and I flew over to Aitutaki for a 5-day stay. We chose Aitutaki Seaside Lodges because of the reviews on TripAdvisor and we like self-catering accommodations. We were met at the airport by an employee of Seaside who had our rental car ready and showed us the way to our lodge.

The three lodges sit right on the lagoon with the ocean breakers in the background. Palm and other trees shade the west facing location. The inside of our lodge was spotlessly clean! The kitchen was more than adequately equipped, lots of big fluffy towels in the bathroom and for beach use, and a shared (free) laundry room.

The highlights of Seaside are the employees, especially Miles and Emma who are the managers. Each day, Miles would come by just to check all was well. He arranged our lagoon snorkel cruise on TeKing Cruises, which I also highly recommend, and made reservations for us at the Tupuna Restaurant. We could tell that Miles was very proud of the Lodges and his island of Aitutaki. I highly recommend staying at the Aitutaki Seaside Lodges if you like being on your own and away from the resort hustle and bustle.

We loved it! Miles took a great care of us. We loved our bungalow. It even had a smoothie maker which we used a lot. Eating on Aitutaki might be a mission so we enjoyed having a kitchen. Fish we caught we prepared on BBQ. Having a laundry was a must with humidity and rain. All bungalows are air conditioned and I honestly cannot imagine staying without it. Location is wonderful as it is straight on the beach. Snorkeling is good in the morning if you go a bit right closer to the public beach. We rented a scooter for a week and explored an island. Bed was a bit soft for us as we prefer firm one but it is a personal choice. In general, the bungalow is perfect if you are not looking for a luxury and all inclusive kind of vacation. We enjoyed privacy and being self-sufficient. Highly recommend.
