Review of Aitutaki Village

We were met upon arrival at the airport with fresh aromatic leis. We went to the property and our room was generously decorated with fresh flowers on the bed, on the counters etc, The facility was exactly as advertised. It was in a seperate bungalow. There was no tv, radio or telephone. If you are not content to sit on the beach or take a snorkeling cruise, this is not the island for you.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this would be an excellent choice. Do not confuse this island with the Paris Ritz, but it is a wonderful;. quiet,peaceful place to relax and regroup.

Would never get tired of this view
Spot on when people say this accommodation is at the best spot in Aitutaki. The rooms are comfortable and well presented. The staff were excellent - extremely helpful, professional, friendly and customer focused - no request was too much trouble for them. We were fortunate to be there on a Tuesday, and the Island Night Buffet & Show was a great experience with great food. Would happily stay here again on a future visit.

We loved every single second of our stay!
Aitutaki Village is an absolutely wonderful little resort with a view that makes you speechless! We did a lot of research before we decided to book this resort, and we are so extremely happy that we finally booked Aitutaki Village. We stayed here for 14 days, and we loved every single second of our stay!!!

The resort is located on Ootu Beach with a view over the lagoon, and it is so beautiful that you can sit for hours and just look out over the water with all its shades. The colors goes from white (sand banks), to turquoise, to green, to finish on the horizon with the deepest blue shade. It's incredibly beautiful!

Aitutaiki Village is a small and fairly basic resort, but with a great service. The staff make you feel veryy welcome and special. The owner - Tania - does everything to make your stay memorable and perfect. The complimentary breakfast is basic and quite simple, but you can buy extra, like scrambled eggs, if you want. The restaurant's food is really tasty (try the Sashimi, it's delicious). To sit in the restaurant with the beautiful lagoon in front of you makes your dinner fantastic.

The beach is quite small but it is easy to swim, even at low tide. At low tide it's nice to walk around in the water, take a dip into the deeper parts and slowly walk in the sand where the sandbanks reach over the surface.

Aitutaki atoll really lives up to its reputation of being one of the world's most beautiful places, and at Aitutaki Village you have the beauty right in front of you.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I return to Aitutaki!

Rest and relaxation
Bungalow accomidation set beside a lagoon that is breath taking. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food served in an open eating area. Food quality was good but limited menue. Accomidation was reasonable but costly for what it is. Wifi was reasonable cost.

Piece of paradise
We stayed four nights in a family unit. Basic, but comfortable and clean and the best location in aitutaki. Beautiful staff, from Tania who picked us up at the airport, room cleaning and restaurant. Meals at the restaurant were delicious, especially the tuna. They organised our trip to one foot island, the bishops cruise leaves from aitutaki village and is a must do. Very short walk to koru cafe for the best coffee and the boat shed, both with great meals as well.

I highly recommend this property!
First of all,the guest that reviewed this property saying it was a dump with rats is lying. Obviously a mean person. This is our 3rd time in Aitutaki, first time staying at this property. We were greeted with lei's at the airport by Tania the manager. Rooms very clean & they have a/c which is a plus! Most places just have fans. The bedding was nice,and the bed was comfortable. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Some places clean every three days. There is complimentary coffee and tea in the room. Also complimentary breakfast is included. Great location. The water in front of the property is the best on the island. Tania the manager was just great! She helped us with all our needs. And trust me, we are a
needy family. The food at the Blue Lagoon Restaurant was really good. Overall, my family and I were very happy staying here at the Aitutaki Village and would highly recommend it to anyone.
