Loved Aitutaki Lagoon! We were her 25 years ago and it's still the same. Clearest blue water and great snorkelling.

For those of you that remember the Bounty advert this is the place.
Absolutely stunning.
We went here on our honeymoon as part of a trip in the Cook Islands.

One of the most beautiful places we have seen, Giant Clams, Giant Trevally, Moray Eels so many fish it is just amazing. Take a Teking Cruise and snorkel possibly the best lagoon in the Pacific.

Come see for yourself and see if you agree - turquoise blue water, white sand beaches, swaying palms - it's postcard perfect

Aitutaki Lagoon is a thing of beauty. One small air flight away from Rarotonga and you have found paradise. Unbelievable water colour, snorkelling is amazing, and the people that live there are some of the friendliest you'll ever meet. We flew in on a Sunday, and started walking along the road when the hugest guy and his family stopped us and asked if we wanted a lift. We obliged and he took us around the island only to find out that the whole place is quiet on Church day. So we spent the time lazing in the sun at one of the resorts, swam in the purest ocean you could find until Island Night kicked off with an all you can eat buffet!

For some interesting fun, head out to the airport after dark and watch the local kids catch the coconut crabs. The noises the crabs make are phenomenal!
