Owner description: This tiny island in Aitutaki's beautiful lagoon contains a post office and a single cabin that can be rented by visitors. Most visitors just come for the day to experience the tranquil location and to snorkel in the lagoon.

“Heaven on earth!”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

Our lagoon cruise stopped here and cooked us a wonderful bbq lunch. There were only three of us on the trip so it was like our own private tour. Don't forget to take your passports to get them stamped with the One Foot Island stamp, very special. Giant clams, baby fish in rock pools and a lovely beach. Just the best place ever!

“A unique destination”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

This small island bosts the famous "tree" photo that typifies the Cook Islands, a linch stop, a pristine beach, and I was able to have my passport stampted in 2009. I loved it. We were able to sail on hobie cats over to the island - it included lunch.

“Heaven”

Quite little island. Well worth the trip to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of daily life. The white sand and the clear waters make snorkeling a blast. We took a tour of the lagoon and that is certainly a blast.

“Most beautiful island in the lagoon”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

It may take the longest to get there but that's not too long, and this secluded island is stunning. It takes 20 minutes to walk around (take shoes as the south-eastern corner gets really rocky); the hermit crabs are tame; and the fish just offshore are very friendly. Don't miss a trip to One Foot Island on a lagoons cruise!
