I cried when we were taken to our room, breathtaking is probably the most appropriate description! From the very first moment we landed on the Island we had a sensational time of snorkelling, swimming, relaxation and rest. Its just like all the pictures you’ve ever seen but better, the water was crystal clear and the marine life was so bright and colourful. The hotel was tranquil, serene and quiet, not many people and very little noise, quite often we thought we were the only ones on the beach and the rooms were lovely, just like you’d imagine an Island hut would look like but with extra features. We stayed in a Premium Beach Bungalow and it’s literally right on the beach. We were there in June and the temperature was just right, wouldn’t want to be there in their summer! I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful Oasis, the staff were beautiful and so very friendly, I must make special mention of Pei, Jason, Natasha and Tekura, but each and everyone one of the staff will make you feel like you’re the most important person in the world, do yourself a favour and go!

Room Tip: We stayed in a Premium Beach Bungalow, literally right on the beach, in room 110

My husband & I loved every moment of our 10 day stay at Pacific Resort Aitutaiki. From the beautifully appointed beach side bungalows, to the sculptured grounds, the pool beside the beach & bar, and the very attentive & charming staff who made us feel very special indeed. This resort was ideal for us as a couple - a very romantic location, with breathtaking sunsets. There were several weddings held on the beach while we were there, plus couples on their honeymoon - so even though we didn't fit into either of these categories, we certainly felt that 'love was in the air'.
We spent our days either snorkelling locally, taking the bicycles out & exploring the island, lagoon or diving trip, or just relaxing on our private deck or down by the pool. With all the different tours that are available on the island you can be as busy or relaxed as you like. The 'Island Culture' night was fabulous too - an introduction the local culture through dancing, drumming & food, plus it was great to know we were financially helping the local performers.
We recommend unreservedly recommend this resort.

Room Tip: Not all rooms appear to have their own private balcony - I guess this is covered in the range of pr...

We would advise putting Pacific Resort Aitutaki at the top of your bucket list.
This was our second visit, the first being in 2004 which we have never forgotten.
It was so great to return after all these years and enjoy a resort that has still got that extra special X Factor. This place feels real. It is soundly built and maintained using beautifully carved local timbers, creating an ambience that is timeless.
Sometimes you can have great memories of a place you have travelled to and decide to return many years later only to be disappointed by environmental changes and overbuilding etc, definitely not the case here.
The entire resort is stunning, from the spacious and ridiculously comfortable rooms with incredible views and beautiful detailing, to the immaculate landscaping throughout.
Often a exclusive resort can feel disconnected from the local community, that is not the case here, you definitely feel you are part of the island, they have got the balance right.
The staff are smiling, helpful and gracious, the spa is a must do and the massage was one of the best ever. The restaurant has one of the most amazing views in the world and food to match.
Relax and enjoy every minute, we did. Thank you to all the people of Aitutaki and the Pacific Resort team for looking after us so well. We will be back - and it won't take us 9 years to return next time!

Room Tip: All rooms are marvellous!

WOW! Fantastic, Amazing, incredible, these words do not do justice to the Pacific Resort Aitutaki. The staff there made our wedding day perfect, seemless, relaxing and fun. What a beautiful place run by beautiful people. Our expectations were exceeded. If you are thinking of going there for a holiday or wedding, GO! you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: All rooms have direct beach access you cannot go wrong here.

Since this was our 7th visit in the last 8 years for my partner and myself to Pacific Resort Aitutaki, it goes without saying that we truly love it. What makes it special and unique for us, is the aspect that the biggest decision we have to make each day is what swimsuit to wear. Having been in the corporate world and the hospitality business for over 30 years, we needed a place to unwind, relax, and not have a care in the world. Once you arrive on Aitutaki, and are whisked away to Pacific Resort, one can leave everything else behind. If you want to do activities, and there are many of them, the staff at the resort arrange everything. If you want complete solitude and privacy, no problem. Special occasions...let Jason, the resort manager, handle it. We now spend a minimum of 10 nights and even that is not enough. There are many choices in the world for places such as this, but the resort's intimate size, only 27 bungalows, the warmth and smiling faces of the staff members to make you feel at home, the quality of the food at the 2 restaurants, and the sheer beauty of the resort, make it a one of a kind experience! Relax and enjoy.

We arrived on Friday afternoon, welcomed with nice cool drink, asked if there was anything we would like to do. We informed Jason that we were there for only short time(our mistake),and found that nothing a problem. He was able to arrange all we wished to do. We went with Mike who owns the charter boat Slice Of Heaven. The resort was all we expected and then some, nice treat in room each night, bed turned down and lights set for nice relax before bed. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The meals were real nice.We would and may return, if you dont like to swim relax, fish, read a book, snorkel, eat nice meals and meet great folks it maybe not the place you wish to go, its great as the wife gave the credit card holiday as well(ha ha).

Room Tip: Beach front, snorkel gear in room, shower on beach at steps before you go up on deck, nice deck to re...

We recently spent 3 nights at Pacific Resort Aitutaki and what an amazing place it is. The beauty of the resort/pool/beach/lagoon is just how it looks in the brochures and on the internet. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and will do anything to help. The island itself is beautiful and unspoilt. The food was delicious with a good variety to choose from on the menu. I would highly recommend this this as a holiday destination to both couples, friends and families. Would also recommend the Island night - awesome fun and a good way to experience some of the islanders culture. The perfect place to holiday and come home feeling refreshed after some serious R&R :-)
