...because you won't find words to describe how wonderful this resort is. We spent 10 days here, and were married on the beach - the ceremony was arranged beautifully by the hotel, a day we will never forget.

This place truly is paradise - we were treated like friends rather than guests. The service could not be improved on, the rooms are luxurious, the food is as good as any top class restaurant (but far more reasonable) and the setting is just breathtaking. The real gem in this hotel is the staff - talk about service with a smile. The team were so friendly, we ended up inviting some of them to our wedding!

The Black Rock Cafe blends a different cocktail 'special' each day and names it after a guest - nice touch! The spa is small but perfect - really soothing atmosphere and Chido made a very nervous bride to be relax and enjoy the day (great manicure and pedicure).

The hardest part about writing this review is telling people how amazing this place is - becuase once you visit, it's the kind of place you want to keep for yourself!

Well done Jason and all team - thanks for a memorable wedding and holiday.

Last summer we chose to spend our Honeymoon at the Pacific Resort in Aitutaki for 10 days and the experience was absolutely perfect in every way.

Arrival
When we arrived in Aitutaki we were met by a representative of the resort at the airport. The Pacific Resort has a greeting area where we were welcomed leis and rapidly checked-in. We were then shuttled to the resort and upon arriving, were greeted with fresh coconut juice and escorted to our beautiful bungalow.

Accommodations
As we entered, local Cook Islands music was softly playing from the CD player with a fruit tray waiting for us. We had our own bungalow right on the beach about 40 feet from the water. The view was absolutely GORGEOUS.

Everything about our bungalow was perfect. The rooms were appropriately furnished with Pacific Island inspired or created décor. There was a living room area and desk area along with a large bathroom with double sinks. The patio was also a very good size with enough room for 2 loungers, a table and chairs.

Amenities
A daily bulletin is delivered to your room everyday including tidbits of island history and other such local information along with the day’s schedule of free movies playing on the TV. There are only 3 local channels so this was a nice thing to have.

The resort had a very nice infinity pool and rock spa overlooking the Aitutaki Lagoon. All water sports equipment was available for your stay; snorkels and fins, kayaks and reef shoes.

An internet station is located on site which I used daily but is a bit expensive. Regardless, it was a nice feature to have at the resort considering the limited internet access on Aitutaki as a whole.

Scooters are also available for hire directly from the front desk.

Resort Details
The resort is very good at their attention to even the smallest details. The grounds were always well kept which is something I saw employees doing constantly. I sensed a pride from the resort staff about this specifically. Food and drinks were presented and adorned with fresh flowers everyday. Even the daily bulletin had Welcome and Farewell greetings for guests arriving and departing.

Food at the Rapae Bay Restaurant was very nice with a beautiful view of the lagoon below. Since all the fruits and vegetables came locally it was all fresh. Drinks at the Black Rock Bar by the pool were nice and tasty as well and we spent many a candlelit night there poolside. We also enjoyed “Island Night” their weekly luau which, depending on the weather, takes place in either the restaurant or near the pool. An island buffet is provided for dinner followed by a luau show.

Staff Service
This is where the Pacific Resort really shines. From the day we arrived to the day we left we were treated very well. The resort staff went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable for our stay. So much so that even if we bumped into resort staff in other parts of town on their “off” hours they would stop to ask if everything was ok. This happened to us 3 times as Aitutaki is such a small island.

Final Thoughts
Overall, our stay at the Pacific Resort in Aitutaki was excellent. It was the perfect spot for honeymoon and we can’t wait to go back.

This is a most wonderful resort; a real South Sea paradise. It is a unique blend of quiet, calm comfort with a fantastic location thrown in! The whole resort blends beautifully with the beach front and lush tropical surroundings. To crown our stay the Manager and his team could not have looked after us better...we were treated as friends, not simply "customers". Finally, the food and drinks in the restaurant and the cafe were superb + v. good value.

Can I recommend this hotel. It is located on Aitutaki Island truly paradise set in a turquoise lagoon. Jason and all his staff look after you like you are one of the family and are so friendly. The accomodation is luxurious and the food superb and such a romantic setting. You can just relax in your beachfront suite or snorkel, kayak and take a car or scooter around the island. The Bishop's lagoon cruise is the best . Hope to come back for some more.

For my first visit to the Aitutaki and the Cook Islands I wanted to experience something special for no special occasion other than I felt like spoiling myself ...and am delighted to have chosen the Pacific Resort! Everything from the meet and greet at the airport to your own personal welcome from the GM on arrival....all I can say is they know how to do everything just right with their special touches. The Pacific Resort has the WOW factor in every category. The property is well taken care of and is Polynesian in a classy and elegant way, and offers something for everyone. All room categories have their own special charm and you cannot possibly make a wrong choice. Food and service at the Rapae Bay Restaurant is first class with a relaxing atmosphere and with an amazing view. The staff go out of their way give you their "island hospitality" in every way and the only thing I regret with my stay is that I didn't stay longer! Well done guys for a truly lovely and memorable experience! I will be sure to come back!

We stayed at the Pacific Resort in Aitutaki for nearly two weeks on our honeymoon. After the build up to the wedding, trying to get our work completed so we could take time off, the Pacific Resort was absolutely fantastic. It was a brilliant place to relax. The units are really beautiful, each with their own deck. We were provided with snorkelling equipment, there were kayaks and a great swimming pool. The staff were generally lovely, very polite and helpful. The food was amazing and the entertainment on special evenings was great. I would highly recommend this as a superior place to go and relax.

My wife Susan and myself have just spent five days in Paradise @ Pacific Resort in Aitutaki. First Class Hotel in ideal situation complimented by the friendly helpful staff who ensured the stay was perfect. The food and drinks were exquisitely served whilst at night the live musical acts were of local culture and more than adequate. The cultural night of food and dance was brilliant. Jason the General Manager runs the resort efficiently and from the front Absolutely brilliant can't wait to return in the not too distant future
