“Best day trip!”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

We loved the day-long Teking Lagoon Cruise! Highly recommended, it was our best day on Aitutaki. We visited 3 snorkelling spots and loved swimming with hundreds of yellow butterfly fish and the breathtaking Napolean Wrasse. Thanks Teking! - Ann and Chris

“Excellent trip!”
Reviewed December 21, 2013

We enjoyed the trip! Our guides were great - they knew their way around and were very knowledgeable. The trip we did took us to 3 snorkeling spots, all of which were great. In addition, we stopped at all the key islands, including one foot island. The day did not feel rushed and there was more than enough time at each destination. It was small and intimate as there were only 10 people on the speed boat vs some of the big boats we saw. Highly recommended!

“what a fantastic day”
Reviewed November 29, 2013

I only had the pleasure to have a lagoon cruise with teking, I cannot comment on others but we were glad we chose them. We actually meet the king the day before for our afternoon private boat transfer to One Foot. The beauty of the lagoon is undescrible, no photos can do justice of what you can see with your eyes.
By the way if One Foot is your destination for your wedding ceremony do that first and enjoy the snorkelling tour a day or so after...it will make the wedding even more special!
Very informative, straight to the point captan, lots of hours under the sun (cover yourselves with sun protection many times during the day if you don't want to look like a lobster just after a couple of hours) and amazing fish life and coral. Best of all......no sharks!
One thing I regret: didn't bring an underwater camera with me so all those lovely fish and coral have only to be remembered.
At lunch on one of the motus we enjoyed the fresh fish barbie, try the tuna sashimi is sooo good! Along with salads and fresh fruits.

“Loved this tour, Almost did it twice!”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

If you travel halfway across the world to Aitutaki, you MUST do at least one lagoon tour. To skip a guided lagoon tour is pure foolishness.

We chose Teking on the advice of locals, who advised us that the tour would be least packed, and visit the most snorkel spots. We were rewarded. We noticed other tours with sardine packed boats and far too crowded. Our trip with Teking was a modest size, had amazing snorkeling, stopped on many islands, and lunch was fresh and grilled. In fact, the island lunch might have rivaled some of the best the islands restaurants had to offer. Bravo to the chef working with a limited kitchen miles from a real stove.

I enjoyed it so much, we almost went again. But after having seen the tour snorkel spots, we grabbed a kayak and found our own private island to visit. If I had more time, I'd just rent them for an entire day and do a private tour.

“The best in the business! ”
Reviewed November 20, 2013 via mobile

What can I say but make sure you choose Teking on your stay in Aitutaki. Arrived at the airport on our honeymoon and another Aussie couple mentioned to us in passing to go with Teking if we were going to choose a lagoon cruise. Based on that tip alone (hadn't researched much for our honeymoon) I called to book Teking even after our resort recommend two other companies and wouldn't assist me to book with Teking.

Teking is smaller boats, better local knowledge and way way more time in the lagoon. Not on it..but in it. This is a tour for snorkeling, and it will likely be the best you've done. Great fish and coral life, plenty of time and assistance of where exactly to look. Extremely good value to see the Aitutaki lagoon and understand its beauty. What's more Teking himself as guide is what makes the tour, his charisma and charm rubs well with a large number of honeymooners, I'm sure the jokes don't get old though even for the families on the trip.

Can not give this a high enough rap after experiencing some other tourist boat companies in Raratonga..Teking is the King!
