“Best money spent on our trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

Yes, it's a little more expensive by about $10 but it is more than made up for by the length of time on the water, sights seen, service, experience, food and humor!

We are young, broke and hesitated to spend the money on the lagoon tour. We now know it was the best money we spent on this island vacation. Teking was a great snorkel guide, well actually a great guide in general. He is full of knowledge of the local fish/birds, islands, medicinal plants etc. They fed us an awesome BBQ lunch with more food than I ever expected! He has stories and jokes to tell for ages, great guy! The guys /lady working on the boat were also so kind, friendly, hospitable (I feel like that is a major theme throughout our stay on the islands).

I would HIGHLY recommend this lagoon tour to anyone visiting Aitutaki! Just bring your sense of humor and know that ladies always go first.

“Loved it!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

It might be true that he likes to pick on one of his pasangers, but nothing none can take or enjoy as a healthy way of having fun with the rest of the group.
I've seen all the other cruises while on our trip, and I wouldn't change TeKing for any other.. smaler, more intimate, loads of snorkeling everywhere around, AMAZING Bbq, and a visit to beautiful honeymoon Island. I defenetely recomend everyone who goes to aitutaki to do this experience. :)

“Teking is the King!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

Don't fret about, take the Teking Tour. You'll get three or four snorkelling drops, and see several of the uninhabited islands in the lagoon. Most of all, you'll be treated to the oral history of Aitutaki by the King, Teking himself!!!

“Not the best.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

Good: Snorkeling and BBQ
Bad: $99 is the most expensive out there, cheap and unfunny jocks, very snobby attitude from the "king".
When they picked us up, we asked if we need to take the water with us. They assure us that there a plenty of water on the boat, but when we got on the boat they told us that it would be $4 per small bottle. Very tricky way to make extra $.

“Aitutaki lagoon at its best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013

We got a mix of snorkelling, our favourite, some of the islands with a good dose of information and custom and an awesome island feast, thankyou so much. At the end Teking asked if there was anything he could do to make it better in the future, I had nothing at the time but now I would say, dont split up the couples putting the girls in the front of the boat in the sun with the guys in the back in the shade. I am not a sun worshipper and would have appreciated the shade and 3 of the couples on our boat were on their honeymoon, they may have preferred to be together especially the couple from the Netherlands that didnt speak much english, but if that is the worst I can say they are doing a good job, thanks for a great day and some fantastic snorkelling.
