waitress was very helpful in selection as definitely do not require the double burger - singles were way big enough! Only let down -we ate outside but forgot the bug spray

Being a Texan, we eat a lot of cow. We eat steak, brisket and burgers at every cookout it seems. We know burgers. We also know that mayo sucks and mustard is the way to go! ;-) Having said that Yankees and Canadians (and French Polynesians) love them some mayonnaise. The burger meat was good and all the fix'ns were good except the mayo. Ask for no or light mayo if you are from the south of the US! I was scraping it off! Okay enough talk of condiments...the place was lovely. The atmosphere homey and even a touch romantic at evening time. The staff were friendly and the beer cold. Overall, a lovely experience but we ate at some great restaurants on Moorea. The best restaurants besides on Bora Bora during our stay were here and if you are short on time or money I'd recommend Moorea Beach Cafe, Snack Mahana and Le Motu Pizza Grill higher.

I read about this place before we landed and was so happy we were able to try it! We came for lunch (very cost effective - 4900 CFP for two large burgers, fries, a pitcher of beer, water). The owners were very nice and the local police ended up eating there too. I had the Quebecois which was delicious and my husband had the bacon cheeseburger with american cheese (he was very happy they had the Kraft after ;) suffering through Brie everyday).

This place is recommended by a local friend & we're not dissapointed. Went here twice altho didnt succeed a few times cause they were shut at strange timing (island time, make sense :) really really good, taste really homemade & the bun is to die for! So fresh!
