My wife and I visited Moorea for two days. After a day's beach and snorkeling activities, we wanted a little adventure and see the interior of the island. It was money well spent. William, our guide, led a small group of three couples through a 3.5 hour tour of the interior of the island, visiting lush plantations of pineapple and orchards of mango, passion fruit, grapefruit trees. Stopping at three different view points, we saw splendid expansive views of the Moorea volcano caldera, two bays, and the coral reef along the northern bank. Willam's knowledge of the local agriculture, geology, and culture added color to the tour. 30 minutes into the tour, it began to pour, which was mitigated by the rain jackets stored in each ATV for us to wear to help keep us dry. Despite riding through the rain, we still had an enjoyable experience. It added to the adventure. I'd recommend this activity and this company for their outstanding service.
Logistical tips: If you're staying at the Intercontinental Hotel, you can walk across the street to their office and book the tour to save you a few bucks, possibly. Do be prepared to bring rainproof bags for cameras, phones, etc.
