“Fantastic meal to end a great week in Costa Rica”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

A large group of us enjoyed an amazing dinner here at the end of our trip in CR. we didn't have a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in before a group due to arrive later in the evening. It was a nice mix of locals and tourists and the food was absolutely great, in a nice atmosphere. Made you feel like you had come back to a familiar place!

“Buena comida!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Brilliant. The restaurant has great ambience and great food. Can't ask for more. Mind you, there could be a long wait time (if you do not call in advance) and yet it's so worth it. Strongly recommended if you're in San Jose.

“All 5's to La Esquina!!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

For starters, just the place gives a hint of what you will receive. Nice and cozy restaurant, that even it is small makes u feel like you are in Bs. As an the host whih I guess is the owner he is THE BEST. Super nice and pays attention to the details and he always got a smile! The food simply Fantastic!!! The pasta is great and the sauces phenomenal! I go every once in a while but everytime I go I get out of there totally happy and even pampered!!

“Great pasta and Steak”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

The service was great which is very difficult to find in costa rica. This restaurant has great food! the only problem is that the restaurant is very small and very loud which is hard to maintain a conversation.

“A great argentinian experience in Costa Rica”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Everything is good! This restaurant is in downtown San Jose--which I did not particularly like. But as you walk into this quaint, small restaurant, you feel you are somewhere else--in Buenos Aires! We got there early, and soon the whole place was taken over by beautiful, young and vivrant locals. The wine menu is extensive, the staff knowledgeable, and the food was great. There were four in our party, and we all ordered different dishes. Local meat is much more tastier than imported.
