“First the cheap”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

Nice restaurant, with all you can eat option for one price. Without drinks! When you are the first time there, better you know, when coming the fine meet at your table - they will service always the cheap chicken wing, greasy sausage and so on, first - which is clever for them!
But all the meet and also the fresh fish are in a good and sometimes in a superior quality, so don.t worry. And, if you can hold up for no eat more then it is necessary (like me), you will have a great time!

“Just OK and overpriced”
Reviewed March 27, 2014 via mobile

We arrived at our hotel in the early evening and wanted to spend our last night in San Jose in a good meat restaurant. After the front desk initially suggested hooters, or Outback Steakhouse, or their lobby bar, they consulted with a taxi driver (who in fact was very nice) that suggested we go to Fogo Brasil. Our well to do cabbie gave us a tour of San Jose's finest fast food eateries before taking us to "Forgo" Brasil. It looked commercial and middle of the road but there were locals there so we thought we wouldn't be had. We were happy with the friendliness of the bus boys only to realize they were friendly because they knew we had no clue that the middle of the road, seemingly midwestern place charged us $70/pp when we've eaten better for $20! The meat was OK - I barely touched it b/c it was super bloody. Not memorable. Just forgo Brasil unless your only other choices are hooters or Outback Steakhouse! The next morning was unpleasant as I fondly recalled the meal while sitting on and off the toilet for three hours.

“Best place if you are hungry”

A lot of meat for all tastes. Good drinks, all you can eat. If you are fan of soccer, this is going to be the place during the next World Cup.

“This place is for any kind of people”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

If you are a meat lover this is the place, but also if you are vegetarian or pasta lover this is your place, their extensive menu is just way outstanding... This is my favorite place in costa rica, you can eat everything, sushi, pasta, they have the longest salad bar in the area, raw fish, pasta, and 16 different meat cuts.

The service is great, the place was made for real eaters!

If you care about calories and getting fat.... better go away cause you could be in trouble by seeing all that delicious food.

“Wonderful Restaurant”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

This is an excellent restaurant in San Jose. We actually sat in the bar (which is a better choice for lunch) and ate off of the bar menu. Four of us shared and it was way more than enough. Loved the atmosphere as well as the food.
