My husband and I have eaten at Grano de Oro many times (and also stayed in the hotel many times). It is always wonderful. We ate there this week and it was no exception. The ambiance is charming- lots of wood, old photographs of San Jose, beautiful blown glass light fixtures, an open courtyard for nice weather, antiques all over the place. And the food is just fabulous, never disappoints, I especially love the Grano de Oro pie for dessert. The service is usually flawless- this week it was not so great, but it was the busiest time of the year with spring break, so I will give them a pass on that one this time. Worth a visit, without a doubt- super place.
